Initially scheduled to finish on 1 January, the stalls and ice rinks of Brussels Winter Wonders market Plaisir dHiver in French, Winterpret in Dutch) located on Place Monnaie and Place De Brouckère will remain in place for another week, until 8 January. Place De Brouckère will host the ice rink and numerous chalets and covered terraces, thus creating a warm and friendly mini-village. ![]() Three artificial curling rinks are being set up here, surrounded by chalets offering typical mountain food and drink, along with a wide range of sweets and other treats to delight those with a sweet tooth. ![]() This year the Place de la Monnaie is being transformed into an après-ski village.
